Graduates from top universities can get UK visas

Graduates from top universities can get UK visas.

The United Kingdom has announced that recent graduates from the world’s top 50 non-British universities can apply for a UK visa to stay and work in the United Kingdom for three years without having a job offer. Even it does not matter where they are born. It will make it easier to recruit high-skilled employees and talented people. The candidate must pass a criminal background check and be able to read, speak, listen, and write English at an intermediate level. Recent revisions to the UK immigration system aim to make it easier for individuals who hold degrees from high-ranking universities to apply for High Potential Individual (HPI) visas within the last five years.

Several routes exist for immigrants to earn enough points based on their skills, occupations, and education to qualify for the new visas, which reflect Britain’s use of a “points-based immigration system.” The essential thing is that Students can apply for HPI visas only if they have graduated from an institution that appears on two or more of the following three global ranking systems. These are Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings, and The Academy of Ranking World Universities. It means Eligible universities must appear in the top 50 rankings of at least two of the three.
