Buckinghamshire New University is a public university located in Buckinghamshire, England. It has campuses in High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Uxbridge and Great Missenden. Since its founding as the School of Science and Art in 1891, the institution has gone by several names, including Wycombe Technical Institute, Buckinghamshire College of Higher Education, and High Wycombe College of Technology & Art. From 1999 until 2007, when its candidacy for university status was approved, it was a university college.
