Wales' Glyndwr University is a public research institution with locations in Wrexham, Northop, and St. Asaph. When officially granted university status in 2008, Wrexham Glyndwr University became the tenth university in Wales. The main campus is in Wrexham, about 10 minutes from the town centre, and a new campus in London specialising in management and computing recently opened. The university provides excellent rail and road connections between Wrexham, Manchester, and Liverpool.
